It turns to spaghetti when you experience hi temp spikesorfrequentpressuresurges. You have to earth it when burying it. You use twice as many mounting brackets to install it than a rigid pipe system. In cold climates its almost impossible to weld the thing. In Germany they have moved to annealed copper or stainless crimp fittings like Geberit mapress(Germany), Veiga (Germany) or York xpress(UK). In USA use Victaulic&#039;s crimp system. Aquatherm you cant use the same pipe for hot &#038; cold water,fire or hydronic system and it is not UV resistant in standard form.Copper and stainless have been used for 100 years and are made to a recognised US or British standard. PPR is used and now manufactured in eastern europe asia and africa It was designed for low cost plumbing market in 3rd world countries This product has stated a 50 year theortical life but reality is it has been around for 35yrs maybe less out in the market.&quot;Greenpeace approved&quot; since when is greenpeace recognised as a testing standard that your insurance company will aknowledge.The standard this product meets is very specific where it can be used because of it limitations.
